The police in Anambra have affirmed that a 6-month-old infant was conveyed to the Obosi Division by a man who discovered him in a backwoods.
Police representative, Haruna Mohammed stated, “At around 0600hrs, one Duff Ibanga male of Umuota Village Obosi conveyed to Obosi Division a six-month-old infant charged to have been relinquished in a bramble along Idemili Junction street Obosi.
The scene was visited by police investigators appended to adolescent and welfare unit of the division. The case is under scrutiny to learn the conditions encompassing the episode and exertion is continuous to follow the natural mother of the child.”
Duff Ibanga said his consideration was attracted to the infant when he heard cries while going through the woodland territory. He said he took the infant to the police a short time later.
