“Lukaku Revealed African “Juju” Told Him Not To Sign New Contract And Leave For Chelsea”

Farhad Moshiri has revealed that star striker, Romelu Lukaku didn’t sign a new deal for Everton due to “voodoo”.

The Toffees’ Annual General Meeting took a turn when their major shareholder was asked about the Belgian’s departure from the club.

He said:

“During the meeting [with Lukaku over a new contract] he said he had to call his mother, who was on a pilgrimage in Africa, and he had seen a voodoo who said he had to go to Chelsea.”

“If I told you what we offered him, you would not believe it. We offered him more than Chelsea offered. I didn’t spend as much time trying to keep Barkley as I did Lukaku.”

Shortly after, Lukaku completed a £90million move to Manchester United, with former captain Wayne Rooney going the other way.
