21-year-old stabs teenager to death over missing phone

The Ogun State Police Command has captured a 21-year-old-man distinguished as Isreal Oluranti for purportedly wounding his 18-year-old companion, Farooq Olusegun, to death.

It was assembled that Oluranti and Olusegun went to a birthday party with their companions on Christmas Eve.

Affirming the occurrence, police representative, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Wednesday said the episode happened at Ope-Ilu part of Agbado in Ifo Local Government Area of the State.

Oyeyemi said on December 25, inconvenience began when a contention resulted over a missing telephone with the expired blaming the suspect for taking it.

“This incensed the suspect, resulting whereupon he took one of the brew bottles around, broke it and cut the expired on the chest,” Mr. Oyeyemi included.

He said the casualty was immediately hurried to a close-by clinic yet passed on in the way.

“The father of the casualty, Kolawole Abiola held up the protestation at Agbado Divisional Headquarter and the DPO, Omonijo Sunday itemized analysts to the scene where the suspect was immediately captured,” he clarified.

Mr. Oyeyemi included that magistrate of police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has requested the prompt exchange of the case to the Homicide Section of State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for advance examination.
